Naremburn Community Centre Playground is an important open playspace resource for the local community. Further to community consultation, Willoughby City Council has developed a playground improvement plan for the playspace which includes our City-themed Multiplay unit (J38601), Sand Sieve (J123) and Inclusive Junior Basket Swing (R49-UMN-230).
The City theme takes children on a journey to an imaginary urban environment where they take on the role of a fireman, ambulance driver, postman, train driver, or even a passenger on an open-top bus. The play equipment is packed full of play features that are ideal sources of inspiration for role play, as well as for the development of fine motor skills.
The Sand Sieve provides children with a sensory play activity and inspires creativity whilst the Inclusive Junior Basket Swing gives them sensory stimulation and the sensation of flying through the air, alone or with others.
