As we approach the holiday season and the end of 2023, it’s time to reflect on the highlights, challenges, and memorable moments that defined the year for the Proludic Australia team. As a team we have enjoyed memorable project achievements, expanded the Proludic family with new team members, and celebrated family additions with new births, and even some furry babies as well. We celebrated professional growth and most importantly connections. That smells like team spirit.

Events

South Australia has been quite the host this year. It started with the team trip to Adelaide that became a memorable bonding experience, blending playground safaris, food, and wine. We can confirm our project teams loved the bus tour exploring our local playgrounds in South Australia. This was followed by both the Joint International Congress as well as the AILA UNEARTH festival held in Adelaide. These events were great opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. But above all it was just lovely to feel a sense of normality and freedom while coming together in person and forming true connections.

Projects

2023 was filled with great projects. Let’s look at a few that especially stood out to our team. One of them was AMIGA Montessori Maddingley Childcare Centre, a unique series of age-specific playgrounds installed on an outdoor rooftop. Queensland impressed us with two beautiful Aquatica inspired playgrounds, Kitchener Park in Brisbane, and the Great Keppel Island Seaway Trail playground on Great Keppel Island, which celebrates the diversity of our beautiful marine life. Both playgrounds have been enhanced with our bespoke Grafic Games artwork, making them unique. We love the Seaway Trail playground with its cute turtle theme and are all hoping for a visit in 2024! We also celebrated the new playground built in the north-west of WA at Spinifex Alehouse Cable Beach in Broome, a great place to meet and play for the locals and visitors to this remote and beautiful part of Australia.

Towers

It’s not a wrap without mentioning our exciting new play towers. So here we are! The first Ka’Yop tree tower has sprouted in Victoria at Parkside Boulevard playground, hooray. A feast for your eyes is the golden Kanope tower with bright yellow slides at Golden Fields Reserve Playground in Golden Grove, South Australia. The bespoke Kay’op Sky Tower at Riverbank Park Adventure Playspace in Yass, New South Vales, was a collaborative design of Proludic and Group GSA. And we recently blasted off a rocket ship from the bespoke launch control play tower at Waverley Park Playground. The ability to tailor playgrounds to different environments speaks volumes about Proludic’s commitment to creativity and community engagement. Safe to say, it’s been a year of iconic playgrounds.

Team Spirit

To wrap up 2023 the Proludic team has cherished the connections and times of togetherness as a team the most. We loved helping and supporting each other and our clients. Growing closer as a team has made work not just a duty but a source of joy. Can you smell the team spirit?

We wish everyone happy holidays and a playful new year. Wheeeeeeeee!
