Proludic was pleased to work on the new Junior School Playground for Korowa Anglican Girls’ School and to receive very positive feedback from the Director of Business, Robert Konoroth who made the following comments: “We were extremely satisfied with the way the work was conducted at Korowa and the results and product were of a high standard.

Proludic was approached by Harding Architects to assist with the design of the new playspace. The school wanted a play area that provides high climbing opportunities, balancing and sliding activities to cater for the prep students through to the junior students and a natural design to reflect the “Reggio Emilia” philosophy integral to their Early Learning Centre.

The choice of play equipment reflected the playground brief and includes the following:

  • Pyramid Net (J4807): the 5-metre Pyramid Net challenges children from 5 years old to move their bodies and explore new ways of playing in a 3D space above the ground.
  • IXO Multiplay (custom J2535): connected to the Pyramid Net, the Ixo Multiplay speaks the language of pre-teens who want to test their strength, prove themselves in the eyes of others, and make their own rules.
  • Balancing Trail (custom J5404): the trail was designed to connect the existing climbing structure and provide climbing and balancing opportunities for the Early Learning Centre students.
  • Double Embankment Slide (J1110): the slide is a great addition to the playground which provides the fun sensation of sliding together!

The students were very excited to discover their new playground after the school break, they are loving it
