After 15 years with Proludic Australia, Steve Walding officially hung up his Proludic hat and sailed into retirement. Closing a chapter filled with teamwork, creativity, and a shared commitment to uplifting communities through great play.
Steve’s journey began over 25 years ago in a small NSW playground business. Later he joined forces with his wife Madeleine to help shape thoughtful, people-focused public spaces. In 2010, they took a leap and helped bring Proludic Australia to life nationwide supported by a growing team of talented, play-loving people across the country.
Throughout his time at Proludic, Steve worked alongside colleagues, councils, designers and communities to deliver playspaces that reflect the company’s play values: inclusion, innovation, connection, and meaningful design.
A new chapter for Proludic Australia
As Steve sets sail for new adventures, Greg Gerstl takes the helm as Proludic Australia’s Managing Director. A new course for Proludic! Greg brings over 20 years of executive experience and a collaborative leadership style. He has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving growth.
He has led businesses across a mix of sectors from construction and manufacturing to hospitality and logistics. Always focused on creating stronger teams, smarter processes, and better outcomes. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and practical approach, he thrives on turning big ideas into action and inspiring people to do their best work.
At Proludic, Greg is ready to guide the team into a bright new chapter.
